(Message to our beloved Crowdfunding Contributors)
Phew! After an exciting 60 days, our campaign has finally concluded, and it was a major success for so many reasons! (Raised $30,518 including offline contributions)
In addition to our financial goals, the campaign accomplished the following:
We finally publicly announced our plans for Audio Bar
We had the opportunity to test the market and see if the concept would be well-received and people would be excited —> They are
We birthed our community. By including you in our launch process, we started a new family of music lovers who want to see this dream become a reality
We got constructive feedback – people are excited about the concept, many stating they love the idea and were surprised it has not been done before. The most disagreeing feedback we received was people voted against having the word ‘Ristorante’ in the name. We have since decided to drop the word and offer a more broad food menu than strictly Italian bites (revised logo coming). We will still offer some Italian as well as American choices too.
Greater investor interest. Before we launched, we had some investors interested in backing us. Now there are more
We proved we have supporters. Thank you eternally. We accomplished our slogan with you: #MusicLoversUnite
Thanks to your contributions, we achieved the following:
*Financial Goal: $5,000 for Build Permits and Licensing
*Financial Goal: $12,000 for 12 Tap Beer System
*Financial Goal: $6,000 for Music Memorabilia
*Financial Goal: $7,518 toward Lease Security Deposit
Even though we did not hit our original $80,000 goal, this is a solid start for us to get this project moving forward.
What about our perks?
We are starting production right away on your perks and will get them to you as soon as possible. Some of the perks were listed as being deliverable by June, however we did not anticipate extending our campaign an extra 26 days. Our campaign end date was June 20 and then Indiegogo does not release our funds for up to two weeks after (which can be until July 4). We are assessing which perks we can order prior to our fund release date to help get them in your hands on time.
Everyone who ordered the $99 Featured Perk Combo, we will email you to ask you for your mailing address. All of you who ordered a T-Shirt or Tank Top, we will email you asking you for your size.
What Happens Next?
The second round of funding will come from investor meetings and we will start having them early July. We will keep you all updated on how these negotiations go.
Can anyone still contribute after the campaign has ended?
We may offer some of our perks for sale on our site: www.audiobaroc.com – we will inform you if we do.
